The digital, cellular R&S®ACCESSNET-T TETRA mobile radio network for professional mobile radio (PMR) applications was developed by Rohde & Schwarz in line with the specifications of the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI).

The system offers high scalability – from single-site to countrywide networks – in conjunction with a non-hierarchical, meshed network structure, and is not subject to any topological restrictions. R&S®ACCESSNET-T from Rohde & Schwarz features a comprehensive portfolio of TETRA radio network components that is unparalleled worldwide. These infrastructural components combine excellent and scalable performance and redundancy characteristics with maximum availability – features that make R&S®ACCESSNET-T ideal for use in mission-critical environments. Consequently, users of R&S®ACCESSNET-T include authorities and organizations concerned with public safety (BOS), customers operating in the transport and traffic sectors (local public transport and railway companies, forwarding agents, seaports and airports), utility companies (power, oil, gas, water), and major industry complexes.
